Valentine Card: White on white.

Today it's cold, icy and miserable outside. A good day to stay in and create.

This is the 'white on white' card I made for my best friend for Valentine's Day. The dimensions of the card are 4.25"x 5.5". It's a top fold. Usually I use a side fold, but decided to "shake it up" a little today. I used 110 lbs card stock for all except the bird. I used 65 lbs card stock and made two, stacking them for a little texture and dimension. The music background is done with an embossing folder by Tim Holtz and run through a Sissix Big Shot. (The bird was cut with a die on the Big Shot.)
Inside of the card simply says, "Hello friend." I stamped that onto a rectangle of white card stock and glued it inside. Embellished with a red heart stick on gem and two stick on pearls from ms.sparkle at Joann's.

I had a good idea what I wanted this card to look like, so it really didn't take all that long tomake. I didn't want anything "mushy" because my friend is not that kind of friend. I just wanted to be able to wish her a good day and let her know how much her friendship means.

That's it for today,
Go, create something!
